2048.6: Bad News Bears- Big Swings Fall Short

Well there is no way around it folks, the Bears franchise is stuck in a rut. 5 straight playoff misses, with 4 of those seasons being between 77 and 82 wins (an 89 win 2046 being the outlier), and that is despite some big-time moves being made in there and the Pacific not exactly being the world's most high end division in terms of competition. When asked about the reason for the struggles, GM Randy Weigand tossed his arms in the air and said "fuck if I know, but I am not going to rest until I figure it out.
The team does not have much cap room to work with, but also brings back most of their key pieces. A noteworthy exception is likely franchise icon Tai hoi Wie, who is a pending free agent and not exactly lighting the world on fire anymore. When asked about Wie's future Weigand responded "We as an organization can not express enough for what Tai hoi has given to us. We have already put him in the team Hall of Fame and he should walk (note this comment was said with a wink) into the BBA Hall of Fame. That being said, there is a time in everyone's career where it is best to part ways, and I think we are at that point".
