2046.6: Great News Bears- Silver Slugger/Silk Candidates

Post by usnspecialist » Sat May 01, 2021 11:22 am

As has become somewhat of a tradition with the Bears franchise, they have a few standout offensive players who are serious contenders for the best at their respective positions. While the lineup was not as balanced in years past, these individuals proved worthy of award consideration (all rankings are overall FL)

RF Angel Gonzalez: Gonzalez built upon his elite first season in San Fernando and improved upon it in virtually every single category. The RF is looking to be a franchise cornerstone for years to come, with 5 years remaining on his contract.

LF Reggie Vargas: Likely miscast as an LF, Vargas still managed to electrify fans with his bat. Signing him to an extension following the 2047 season is likely high on the list of GM Randy Weigand's priorities.
