It is only appropriate on the same day that the franchise honors Jeremy Hunter with his induction into the team HOF that his longtime teammate and battery mate Amen Mitrani goes in as well. Mitrani was the anchor of the rotation throughout his 15 year career ranging from 1995-2009, and indeed would hold many of the team pitching records were it not for the presence of Steve Nebraska. Mitrani was finally recognized recently by the BBA and inducted into the Hall of Fame there, and now he completes the set of honors with his presence in the Bears Hall of Fame.
