San Fernando picked up Aggur Lugono from the organization formerly known as the Omaha Cyclones in December 2062's rule 5 draft. In his age 23 and 24 seasons, Lugono gave the Bears a weapon against left-handed pitching, swatting 35 home runs in 518 ABs over two seasons as a role player. He's come under tough times in 2065 despite minimal change under the ratings hood. Lugono currently holds a .167/.227/.333 triple slash in 97 PAs, 60 of which have come from that favorable matchup against southpaws.
For the next sim, Lugono was optioned to the SFB farm system for the first time as he'll receive regular playing time for AAA Brooks in an effort to get back on track. As a result, Stephen Moorhouse will be promoted to the BBA roster and take over the role of short side platoon partner at first base. Moorhouse made his big league debut with a single PA in September 2064. He's been ranked as high as the 75th best prospect by BBA scouts and was given a C+ grade in the Bears' offseason first base prospect ranking. Since then, Moorhouse has seen his contact potential bump to 9 as he's slashed .347/.403/.563 in AAA. Since being reassessed as a 60 POT by the game before 2064, I've had a hunch that there is something more than meets the eyes when reviewing the mediocre power/eye elements of Moorhouse's game. The 24 year-old now gets his opportunity to prove that's the case.
