2010 #3 Sim 1
Pitcher of the sim:
SP Robbie Sargent
1-1 with a 3.71 ERA in 17.0 IP with 13 K's to go against only 2 walks. 1 rather bad inning brings down the sim numbers after 1 really amazing start on opening day. Against a potent Madison lineup Robbie threw a complete game only giving up 1 run on 7 hits with only the 2 strikeouts. In his second start against Washington, Sargent struck out 11 over 8 IP but was charged with 6 earned runs.
Batter of the sim:
RF Jeremy Finch
.318 avg in 44 AB's with 3 homeruns. Finch had a respectable sim and a nice burst of power.
4-6 sim. Things started off fantastic by taking 2 of 3 from Madison and then the wheels came off only winning 1 of 4 from Washington and 1 of 3 from Greeneville. The offense wasn't as prolific as it needs to be with Rex Bell really starting the season terribly. The pitching was a little off too especially with Bill Govea getting bombed in 2 losses. Not really happy with the overall performance but on the bright side nobody was injured and Tipper Kengos is back in the lineup. Lets wait and see what happens in the next sim.

Even with a bad first sim for you, the next 4 games are a huge measuring stick for OMA since we're squaring off... I think I might skip Davis in the rotation and match you 1-4 straight up.

Well, I already told Stephens to start dipping some rags in buckets of oil... I can't just make him stop now... poor kid would be so dissapointed.bschr682 wrote:Not like actually on fire cuz that would lead to scars, death, and smell terribly.
