Sorry @Neugey ...

GOOD:

Hey we finally had a winning sim! Reese Newsome pitched two games and actually won one and allowed just one run in the other game, which were wins. Did we break the curse?

Our start catcher Davenport Hinkle has been the best hitter on offense this past week, which is a relief given the slow start he had for this season. The reigning Platinum Stick winner will look to continue this hot streak, while the rest of the offense has played better in the recent weeks as well.

Rodney Keeley, 22 straight games, 0 earned runs. Xuan Ngo, 24 straight games, 2 earned runs. The anchor of the bullpen has been off to an incredible start this season, will they be able to keep up this elite production?

BAD:

That cannot be said for the rest of the Mounties bullpen, as they continue to struggle to find consistency. The bullpen ERA dropped down to 6th in the Frick League once again. Guys like Bill O'Conner and Alex Brayton have struggled the past couple weeks. A shake up could be on the horizon..

The defense has also been below expectations, with the team overall losing about 6 ZR this past sim and being passed by the frickin Hawaii Tropics in most defensive statistics. I miss the days of error free sims..

Elmer Willis was set to replace Angel Gonzalez in right field by the end of the season but he has been struggling hard at the plate. Just a lousy .075 AVG in his last 13 games.

STANDINGS:

The Mounties moved up to fourth in the Pacific Division standings. Sim #13 will see the team finish the series against Yellow Springs, followed by taking a trip to Chicago to take on the surging Sox in a four game series, before returning home to play the first two games of a four game series against the Des Moines Kernals.
