GOOD:
Reese Newsome had another great start and now leads the entire BBA in strikeouts with 100. It's hard to gauge whether his play will continue to improve as it has been. I myself certainly hope so.
Raul Pena made his long awaited debut, and he holds the distinction of being my first ever draft pick in the BBA, so it's special for me to see too. He did well in his first seven games. Hitting .370 with 2 HR and 6 RBI to start his major league career.
Phil Cole started his first game in nearly 11 months and did well. He allowed just one run in 5.2 IP with 6 Ks. Maybe he's not up to the challenge of pitching complete games every start, but if he can keep up his pitching form he'll do fine!
BAD:
4 errors, the entire team will be on trial for treason against the team's strict defense policies.
The Sam Fisher streak came to an end against Nashville, and it was bad... He didn't make it through the first inning and allowed 7 earned runs in that time. But ok it was bound to happen, let's see how he does against Omaha and... he got hurt the first few pitches and was taken out of the game... great. Thankfully the injury wasn't serious and he'll be able to pitch his next scheduled game.
Gamal bin Badr had another bad game, allowing all 9 runs in the teams 7-9 loss against Twin Cities. He's now 0-3 with a 14 ERA in his last three starts. It will be a matter of time before eventually Phil Cole can move back into his spot as the team's ace, which can hopefully take some pressure off of the struggling bin Badr.

STANDINGS:
Th Mounties again fall under .500 and are now fifth in the Pacific division. Is it time to panic yet? Probably not but I'm going to anyways. Sim #12 will see the Mounties play the next three games against Twin Cities before travelling to take on the Yellow Springs Nine for the first three games of their series. This is a time where the Mounties really need to get back on track, otherwise there's a good chance we'll be sellers at this year's deadline.
