154 GP, 601 AB
.280 AVG, 24 HR, 77 RBI, .354 OPS, .463 SLG%, .816 OPS, 4.8 WAR
When Frost joined the Mounties during the offseason many critics called him a washed-up has been that wouldn't contribute. That set a fire off in Frost, as he would bounce back to have one of his best seasons since 2050. The 35 year old played above average in all areas of the game, and brought a sense of leadership and stability to a team that desperately needed it. Fans are hoping that Frost will opt-in to his $11 million player option next year.
Honorable Mentions:
RF Angel Gonzalez
2B Mahine Karetu
DH Jorge Guitterez
The Major Irvine Award
(Best Pitcher of the Year)
SP Phil Cole
33 GS, 22 QS
10-11, 3.33 ERA, 181 K, 97 BB, 1.23 WHIP, 3.7 WAR
No surprise here that Cole would once again show to be an excellent ace and one of the top pitchers of the BBA. Don't let his 10-11 record fool you, it should be way better than that, if only the offense gave him more run support at times. Fans will be happy to know that Cole will once again be returning for the next year, as Wharram plans to opt in to the team option on his contract!
Honorable Mentions:
RP Rodney Keely (23 Games straight without allowing a run)
CP Xuan Ngo
SP Armando Rodriguez
