GM: "Right you are Niles. Phil Cole got right back to business and just for good measure we added Amos Swallows on a very affordable 1 year deal. This gives us back some of the flexibility we lost with a few of the offseason trades. Gerardo Lopez will move back to the bullpen for now as he excelled there last year and Swallows will take a spot in the rotation. "

Charron: " Why add more pitching? Clearly as you have pointed out we need more offense. "

GM: " I know Guy. We've been trying. None of the big free agents would even discuss a contract with us on account of our previous manager having such a bad reputation apparently. We rectified that when we replaced him but even now the free agent market remains closed to us. We have had discussions with multiple teams on various trade scenarios but for now nothing has materialized. "

Sullivan: " Will you look to make a move at the deadline then if the team remains in contention? "

GM: " I don't think that's wise Ms. Sullivan. By then it might be too late. I don't feel like we have a gaping hole anywhere on the team its more like something is just a touch off. We will keep all our options open but I'd say look for us to make a move sooner rather than later or not at all. "
