GM: "Well this week certainly could have gone better but I guess it could have been worse too. Getting swept by Yellow Snow was awful but it was nice to seal off the series win against Sacramento and we do have a chance to get a series victory against Twin Cities tomorrow. Nobody got hurt and we made some moves that we are really happy with. "

Jenkins: "Jenkins?"

GM: "That was rather subdued. Well Jose Barron took nicely to AAA. Mike Brodt and Davenport Hinkle continue to absolutely rake in AA. Some of the non big name pitching prospects are throwing very, very well right now too. Guys like Hani Goddard, Don Castor, Carlton Hurt, Miguel Sanchez who came over from that Montreal trade a few weeks back and Palmer Eveland. Hell even Chet McVurie is having a hell of a start to the season. There's a lot to like going on down in the minors Leroy. "

Renfork: "You mentioned some moves?"

GM: "Yes I did. We claimed Carlos Silva off waivers and installed him as our lefty specialist. Dominic Lawrence was designated for assignment to make room. That move was inspired simply by the age difference between the two. Jesus Cortes was also sent to DFA when the waiver claim for Chris Jenkins went through. We like Cortes and hope he clears waivers but Jenkins brings more versatility. And then the big move was a trade with Omaha. We sent out Augate Balun and received two minor league pitching prospects in return. Todd Dionne and Afeef Mukhtar will now be in our system. We like Balun but lets face it he's 36. So we feel getting any sort of return on him is a win. "

Charron: "Did I not see Keith Sanchez was back up?"

GM: "You did indeed Guy. The first few weeks of the season are behind us and the rotation and pen has kind of settled in. So we sent the extra arm we were carrying down to AAA and called up another bat. Richie Vanness is now down in Victoria. I know the organization had high hopes for him when he was drafted 5th overall in 2039 but he has just never lived up to it. He's just turning 27 so i guess there is still a little bit of time but its not looking good. We will do what we can for him of course."

Sullivan: "How was it taking the series from Sacramento?"

GM: "You really have the pulse of the fans don't you Ms. Sullivan? The place went nuts when we won that game. They have won a lot of division titles in recent years so you have to respect that but they've failed miserably to represent the Pacific as a true title contender. We might not get quite there this season yet but that's the path we are aiming for. Flags fly forever after all. Catch you guys next week."
