Hey Taylor! My question is what do you think our outlook will be to begin the 2040's? The 2030's were a disaster as whole and as a city, we are dying to root for a winning team.

----Thank you for your question. When I took over the reigns as GM in the 2036 off-season, I believed that the early 2040's would mark the beginning of a new window for success. Of course, we couldn't foresee the expansion and realignment that will take place next season, but we are still confident our window will open up soon. Some great players from the minors should be major league ready next season, so we hope next season is the start of something exciting.

Who is a guy in the farm system you think many people have overlooked?
----MountiesGM 50 points · 3 hours ago
----Thank you for your question. Looking over the list of guys, I think many of them have been overlooked, but one sticks out to me. That player is shortstop Roberto Beltrán. He is currently playing in A ball and is impressing everyone. He was drafted in the third round in 2038 and is only 18 years old. The sky is the limit for him in my opinion.

What do you do in your spare time?
----MountiesGM 29 points · 2 hours ago
----Thank you for your question. Since taking over this position, I have lost a lot of spare time. However, I still have time every now and again. I like to watch new movies and binge watch shows (currently binge watching Designated Survivor). I also like to listen to super loud music, mainly new hip hop, I know all the other "old" GM's wouldn't understand

With Bertram Hahn's contract finally ending this season, you guys will have lots of money to spend. Anyone you have your eye on?
----MountiesGM 35 points · 3 hours ago
----Thank you for your question. Now, I can't name anyone specifically as I'm pretty sure that is tampering. But, do we plan to spend some money this upcoming off-season? If the deal is right, then probably. However, it's easy to look at a giant budget for the first time and have the urge to spend it right away. For the sake of long term planning, it's best to not spend until we know what we got with our first wave of big prospects making the bigs.

You recently traded a couple of pitchers, Alejandro Ramírez and Juan Guerrero. What was your thinking with those trades? I say this because while we on the subreddit understand the long term strategy behind it, casual fans are angry that Ramirez and Guerrero are gone.

----Thank you for your question. Well, this is a long term game. You have to look toward the future and think what can I do now to make the future better? With the Ramirez trade, we saw a guy who would need to be re-signed a couple seasons from now. He is a great person and good pitcher, but he had been having a subpar year for us to say the least. So, we saw an opportunity to make the farm system better and have more funds in the long term to potentially sign a superstar player. Same thing with Guerrero. We saw an opportunity to improve defensively and we took that opportunity.

You have been living in Vancouver for a few years now, quite a difference from sunny San Diego. How have you adjusted to living here? Also, please re-sign Menne!
----MountiesGM 26 points · 2 hours ago
----Thank you for your question. The change has been quite drastic but I love it here. It's a great place to live. Of course I miss the weather and Mexican food back home, but it's great to be living in different scenery. As for Menne, we can't officially discuss an extension with him until next season. But, I have a feeling our situation next season will look very enticing to Menne.

Which teams will pose the biggest threat to a Vancouver Mounties championship?
----MountiesGM 35 points · 3 hours ago
----Thank you for your question. There are a few teams that could pose a threat to us. Yellow Spring Nine has a very good farm system as well as a playoff ready team. Louisville has the best farm according to OSA, not hard to see them competing with us. As for teams in our new division, Hawaii, Valencia, and Calgary all have great farm systems. Long Beach, San Fernando, and Seattle cannot be counted out. You shouldn't expect much from Portland early on, but you never know. The pacific division is going to be the best division in the league to start the 2040's and we envision Vancouver leading that division on the road to a championship.
