- Good break-in week for new manager David Vélez: four wins in six games, five games being on the road. Finished off last game against Hawaii at home to win series 3-1; Took two of three in Valencia; Split two in Seattle with rubber game coming tonight.
- Velez also inked a four year extension to his contract, keeping him on board through 2040.
- Tough 2-1 loss to Valencia, spoiling a great outing by José Morales.
- New catcher Dave Robertson hit a two-run homer in his first game as a Mountie.
- Fantastic offensive week for three: Alfredo Bermúdez (9 for 19 with two doubles), Rashardo Menne III (8 for 19 with three doubles, a triple, and a home run), and Gebre-Egziabher Mwaka (9 for 20 with three doubles and three home runs).
- Great complete game win for Juan Guerrero, 9-2 over Valencia. That was his third complete game in a row.
