First is Zhi Li who is currently having a career year, hitting above .300 and amassing nearly 3 WAR. Li was brought over from Calgary during the 2062 off-season and has held the right field role since. He's been an effective lead-off hitter against righties. In the game Li drew a walk against New Orleans closer Eduardo Jimenez, but was later thrown out in a fielder's choice.

At just 23 years old, Hector Ruiz was named as our second All-Star. Acquired from Charlotte way back in 2059, it was a slow burn watching Ruiz develop, but the patience has paid off in spades so far. He leads the team in homeruns with 15 and has a solid glove in the second toughest fielding position in baseball. Thank the almighty stars I didn't trade him, (trust me, it nearly happened a few times). In the game Ruiz kept the game alive for the Frick. Down 2-1 with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Ruiz was subbed in and managed to hit a single off of Cobble Hill pitcher Hayden Bennion. It lead to nothing as Don Hale grounded out to end the game but regardless both Mounties players contributed to the Frick League's efforts.
At this moment we sport a 52-41 record as we look to fight for the division crown.
