The Stars start the 2010 season with allot of news faces and the goal will be to hit .500 or better this year...So far a slow start winning only 7 of 17 games so far...

Vet SP Eladio Beltran is off to a fast start in 2010...Beltran now 37 is 3-0 with a 3.34 era...In 29 innings he has 23 k's...The last two seasons he has won 22 games...The Stars are hoping for 200 innings from Beltran...

Young SP Brian Middleton is off to a better start this season...Middleton who in his first season last year got ruffed up allot...Middleton ended up 10-15 5.82 era...So far in 4 games Middleton ERA is 3.03, which is much better than last years...Hopefully by year end he can step into the ace of the staff...

1B/3B Han Witter is off to a good start in his first season in MBWBA..
Witter who had two great years in the EBA hitting .350 and had 228 hits both years is hitting .425 3 Homers and 6 runs batted in...Witter is looking good so far....

I really hope Witter works out for you. I've been watching him. When I saw him in the EBA he looked like a guy who might crossover to the MBBA pretty well, especially at the hot corner in Phoenix . Like you said, so far so good.
