The Stars did well In April as they were 5 games over .500 and hanging onto first place if you can believe that....
25 year old YI-LIN SHE is off to a soild start in April hitting .301 6 homers and 15 RBI'S...She is getting his shot to start this season and is making the most of it...She also has 6 doubles and two triples....

1B Hector Ruiz had a nice start in April...The Stars 1B HIT .275 hit 5 homers and drove in 14 runs...Last season Ruiz had his best year hitting .301 16 homers and drove in 71 runs....Ruiz 30 and is signed through 2008....

The Stars first major injury comes to MR Joe Muldrow.. The prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 6-7 months. This year Muldrow has collected no saves. In all he has made 10 relief appearances, thrown 8.2 innings, struck out 7 and walked 6. His record shows no wins and 2 losses with a 4.15 earned run average.

Vet SP Devon Hyngary did very good in April...The Vet SP has been off and on the trading block and sure looked like he wants to stay...In April Hyngary went 4-1 3.26 era and had 35 K's in 30 innings of work...Hyngary has 163 wins in his career, all with the Stars...
