The Stars are going through there worst time ever...When looking into the numbers its the RA thats is killing them..Both the starters and the pen are just horrible this season allowing 678 runs so far...Hopefully during the off season the Stars can work on there pitching staff...

So far through August the Stars are having there best month going 10-7..The most games they won was in June when the Stars finished with 14 wins but had 14 losses....Maybe the Stars can have one month with a winning record....

INF Tim Miller had one of his best games this season..Miller hits2 home runs against the Des Moines Kernels, going 2-4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. In a backup role Miller is hitting .244 with 3 homers....

The Stars other utility INF Roosevelt Daniel had agreat game too in August when he hit 2 home runs against the Carolina Kraken, going 2-2 with 5 RBI and 2 runs scored. Daniel is hitting .235 5 20 so far....

1B/OF Tomás Mota got called up and in his last 9 games is hitting .478...Mota, 27, so far in 22 games is hitting .333 and has 13 doubles...Mota had a great year in AAA ball hitting .325 29 doubles 10 homers and drove in 46 runs before his call up...
