In the third round of the 2061 draft, the Valencia front office made the decision to sign Left-fielder Tomas Rodriguez. The 18 year-old bats from the left side of the plate and although is current overall rating sits at 25, he has an overall potential rating of 50.

So far in his first season with the rookie club in Russelville, Tomas has hit .396 in 187 at bats with an on-base percentage of .435. With only one more week left in the regular season for the rookie league, Tomas has hit 7 homers to date. In the field Tomas has above average range in left field where he has committed 1 error in 106 chances.
