The Stars last week ended up with one of there best weeks all year and ended August the best month of the year,16-12...Although it could be a little late to make the playoffs but with month to go anything can happen..

Outfielder Aaron Haney continued his hot streak In August. Haney hit his way to a .345 batting average and the Frick League Batter of the Month award in August. He had 11 home runs, 22 RBIs and 25 runs scored for the month. Big reason for the Stars best month in August. Haney is presently hitting at a .279 pace with 37 home runs, 80 RBIs and has scored 100 times.

Outfielder Ramón Pagán has been very hot to for the Stars. Pagán one of the Stars best hitters over the last 7 games has hit .409 2 homers...Pagán now has a .286 38 84 stat line and hopefully stays hot over the next month...Pagán 25, is only 27 homers away for 300. it should happen next season....

OF/DH Martin Felix, Jr. has always been a good hitter for the Stars. Felix has career .298 batting average. This season the Stars let me start and what a great job he has done...This year Felix .312 30 doubles, 9 homers and 38 Rbi's...Felix gets onbase and the power guys drive him in...The last 9 games
Felix has been on fire with a .483 batting average and had 2 of his 9 homers during that time...The best streak of 9 games for Felix and his best season for the Stars....
