The season for the Stars isn't looking like they wont make the Wild Card slot. The Stars are now 11 games out from getting into that slot they would need a huge winning streak just to make it in.. Huge disappointment for this 2042 team...

Outfielder Aaron Haney has been on fire lately after a very slow start this season..Over the last 7 games Haney has hit .370, 5 HR and over all for 2042 Haney has hit .272 36 77 this season so far...Haney is on the pace to hit 46 homers and 100 Rbi's this season. In his 2.5 years playing Haney has a stat line of .301 137 306..His first season he hit 43 homers and last season it was 58 so this season will be right in there for another great season...Both seasons he hit over .300 and this year he us hitting .272...Haney is only 23 and will continue to have many great seasons ahead of him..

SS Ángel Zalapa has been hot the last 6 games.
Zalapa has hit over that time .381 2 homers. Zalapa is hitting .272 32 86 so far in 2042. Zalapa just missed 40 homerun season last year as he ended with 39 but with 32 and if Zalapa continues his hot steak he should pass the 40 mark this season...
