The Stars in July are below .500 again. So in June and July the Stars are 19-24 and just cant get over the hump. There time is running out as they now have fallen 6 games out for the wild card slot compared to 3 games out a few weeks back.

Both starting and relief pitching has been horrid so far this season. The Bullpen ERA is 5.31 - 11th in FL, Starters' ERA 5.06 - 9th in FL. You can win games with such a big ERA in this league. The powerful offence is having issues to, Runs Scored 479 - tied for 12th in FL for this offence is crazy bad... If they continue like this maybe time to make changes next season...

1B Ellis Curran a few days ago hits 2 home runs against the Seattle Storm, going 3-4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Curran coming off a great season last year when he hit 37 homeruns and drove in 103 runs. This season Curran has 21 homers and 50 rbi's….Curran is on the pace to hit 35 homers this season...

LF/DH Pedro Salazar had himself a great game a week ago...Pedro Salazar hit 2 home runs against the Chicago Black Sox, going 2-3 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Salazar is now playing full time this year and is no batting 2nd and is having himself a solid year. In 67 games Salazar is hitting .312, 15 homers and 33 rbis… Salazar was put in the number 2 slot because of his high .379 OBP...

CL Alberto Ramírez is having his best season and was voted to his first all star game in his career. Ramírez so far this season has 19 saves with a low era of 1.72. just a great season for the 8 year vet who has a career era of 4.30
