The Stars after a pretty good May 15-14, have really caught on fire in June so far. In June the Stars are 13-7 and are tied for 1st place with San Fernando Bears. The division is the toughest in the league. California Crusaders are last but 2.5 games out and have a 40-37 record, which in all the other division's they would be in first or second place. Its going to be a long hard year.

In June the Stars offense has really started to take off. Frank Mahaffey has 7 homers and 15 RBI'S. Mahaffey now has 25 homers and 49 Rbi's. Mahaffey at this pace is projected to hit 50 homeruns and get 100 Rbi's..

Kiichi Suzuki The Stars hottest hitter this month with a .387 7 14 stat line so far. Suzuki has brought his batting average up to .272 with 16 homeruns...

Ramón Pagán has smashed 7 homeruns in June to give him 26 on the year. So far this season Pagán stat line is .298 26 57 Rbi's….

Leftfielder Wilton Rivera was injured, he got a fractured hand being hit by a pitch and Rivera to be out of commission for about 4 weeks. Rivera is hitting .284 this season with 18 home runs, 47 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 82 hits in 289 at-bats.
