Valencia Stars: 9-21 (.300) # 3

The Stars start the season with only 9 wins. The pitching has been awful so far in the first 30 games. The Stars Team ERA is a whopping 5.89 while the Starters are now at 6.15.
23 year old starting pitcher Gerald Keynes is in his 3rd season and so far Keynes 2037 start has been his worse of his young career. Keynes is 0-5 with a awful 8.45 ERA and in 33 innings he has 22 walks which hasn't helped him. Hopefully soon he can string a few good starts together and get some wins.

24 year old Starting Pitcher Niall Hanlon has had even a worst start than Keynes. Hanlon has a 9.26 ERA and is 1-1 so far this season. Hanlon does have 28 K's in 23 innings but also has given up 12 homers.

24 year old Starter Grellan Profit has had a much better start so far this season. Profit is 2-2 with a 3.46 era. In Profit first two starts he went 2-0 in 17 innings allowing 1 earned run and had 13 K's... Profit had another good start but lost in that game when he pitched 8 innings allowed 6 hits and 1 earned run but the Stars couldn't get any runs for Profit to pick up the win.

So these young starters should be doing better than this. Hopefully May will turn out better for the Stars and there young staff starts getting some Wins...
