The Stars this season are now 50-57 with allot of young guys on this team. So far the offense is slow to develop into the power house that the Stars management though they would be at. The team batting average of .253 is still 10th overall in the FRICK LEAGUE which is disappointing but They still very young and hopefully in the next few seasons they will catch on fire and start hitting more.

The Stars power numbers are much better this season. The team has hit 163 homeruns so far and that's 4th over all which is much better. 25 year old
leftfielder Frank Mahaffey has 27 homeruns which leads the Stars and has driven in 69 Rbi's which also leads the Stars. Mahaffey at 25 is the veteran on this team.

Rookie SS Ángel Zalapa at only 20 is having a great rookie year. Zalapa is hitting .271 23 23 homers and has 63 RBI, and hopefully Zalapa could be a .300 35 homerun guy soon...You should see Zalapa for many years as a Star..

Young Leftfielder Wilton Rivera is now in his second year as a Star and the 22 year old is holding his own hitting 19 homeruns and driving in 51 runs. Rivera with only .230 batting average needs to pick that part of his game up. Last season in his rookie year he did hit .260 17 74. Hopefully the next few months he will pick up his hitting game.

In 2034 the Stars drafted CF Ramón Pagán as the number 2 pick in the draft. Pagán hit .336 25 112 in AA ball in 2035 and showed he was ready this season. Pagán is only 19 and is looking good so far hitting .272 10 32. Another young kid with so much upside.

The Stars are exciting and with all these guys should be fun to watch and develop into a winning team.
