The Stars start the year off with a huge blow with Moore out for the season. So far the Stars are 2 games below .500 and the big goal this season was to be a .500 win season.

SP Mauro Flores pitched a 2-hit shutout against the Calgary Pioneers with 5 strikeouts and 2 BB allowed! Over all in Flores first 4 starts he is 3-0 1.80 ERA, and has 25 k's in 25 innings.

2B Pedro Martínez showed some good power as he hit 2 home runs against the Vancouver Mounties, going 2-4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Martínez has 4 homers to go along with his .245 batting average to start the season.

Catcher José Moleno is off to a nice start this season. Moleno had great game as he went 4-4 against the Yellow Springs Nine, with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Moleno so far is hitting .404 4 homers and drove in 9 runs...

CF Mick Pengilly his first 18 games is off to a good start hitting .306 10 Rbi's and his speed has got him 10 stolen bases this season. Pengilly had a 4 hit game with a walk, a triple and drove in a run...
