The Stars after a very April are back to last place after a horrid May. So far in May the Stars are 4-12 after winning 15 games in April.

SP Mauro Flores has been having a very good season for the Stars. Flores strikes out 16, allowed 4 hits no walks in 8 innings against the Edmonton Jackrabbits but the pen blew the lead and Flores didn't get the win. Flores is now 4-3 with a 2.87 ERA and has 84 k's in 62 innings. His 84 k's are the best in the league.

SP Jorge Ortíz has now 5 wins so far in the 2033 season. Ortiz a free agent pickup is 5-4 3.90 ERA. Ortiz was a solid SP for New Orleans until last season and had a horrible year ending up with 6.51 ERA. The Stars gambled on the 30 year starter as he had a career 4.39 and so far he has looked pretty good.

The Stars lost another SP/MR Jesús Páez with Shoulder inflammation, and he's expected to miss about 5 months. That's two Pitchers in two weeks. Paez had an 3.68 in 29 innings with 33 K's.
