The Stars start the year 4 games under .500...The goal for the season will be win 81 games which is an improvement of last years 74 wins and 63 win year two year ago...
Last year the team had a batting average of .249 and so far this season its .265 which is a big improvement...This year started with trading Drew Zod and his 10 M contract for a few unknown guys to see what they can do... 24 Year old Octávio Rivera has made that decision look good so far..The young DH is hitting .381 in his first 63 AB and Terry Collins is hitting .368 in 19 AB...Its a long season but both are off to a great start...

1B Christian Scott has been on fire so far this year..In 106 AB he is hitting .311 which leads the team, 3 homers and has 17 RBI'S...

CF/RF Felipe González leads the team in homeruns 9 and his 25 RBIS also lead the Stars...

Possible HOF Vet Catcher Jason Dunn at 37 is still hitting the ball...Dunn is hitting .309 6 homers and 18 RBI'S in his 16th year with the Stars..Dunn who was making 12 M last season took a discount to 4M as he wanted another year to play with the Stars...Dunn is on his way to 2,300 career hits and just hit 430 homers...Its possible the STARS could sign him to another year...
