The Stars start the 2022 season with a 5-5 record... The Stars overall pitching are ranking low in the first week but 3 starters did really good...
SP Tony Suárez has a 2.57 ERA after week one but his record was 0-1..Suarez in 14 innings didn't allow a walk and had 10k's...Last year the 26 year old won 19 games...
SP José León in week one went 1-1 2.40 ERA AND HAD A whip OF 0.67...great start for León who also won 19 games last year...
Vet SP Brian Middleton is off to a good start for the Stars...Middleton in his 14 year with the Stars is 1-1 2.00 ERA and his one loss was 3-0 with the Stars giving him no run support... There have been rumors that Middleton could come back for a 15th season at a reduced rate. Both sides are talking. Middleton wants to end his career here with the Stars so lets see what kind of deal he can work out...
