The Stars with an incredible August and September, going 35-20 are going to a 3 game playoff vs Brooklyn Robins...The Stars are now a veteran team with a few young stars that have really helped balance the roster...Since 2014 the Stars have had a great run making it to the playoffs 7 times out of 8 years....

The Stars had some help this year from two late free agent pickups...Outfielder Bob White In 106 games hit .281 11 homers and 46 Rbi's...White now 34 made a big difference and 1B/DH Elliot Spencer really gave the Stars that power that was missing from the lineup last season... Spencer only hit .230 but smashed 25 homers and drove in 70 runs...Spencer will be back again next season for the Stars...

On the youth side rookie CF Mario Murillo
in his first year started 154 games and powered 20 homers with 60 Rbi's...Murillo struggled at the plate as he only hit .216 with 183 K's...At 21 Murillo should improve over the next few years...

Starting Pitchers Tony Suárez and José León both won 19 games this season...Great 1-2 punch the Stars had this season...
