After a slow start the Stars main goal was just to hit the .500 mark...Now over the last two months everything has changed...
In July the Stars had a much better month going 14-10 showing signs that maybe they will hit the .500 mark, but in August the Stars had there best month of the year going 21-5 and now are ten games over .500 with a record of 73-63...
Also the Stars are trailing The Vancouver Mounties by only 5 games and are tied with The Brooklyn Robins for the wild card slot...So many changes in two months....Hopefully the Stars can maintain the winning streak longer...

So what's happen the last 30 days...
Rookie CF Mario Murillo has hit .480 2 homers over the last 8 games.

Starting Pitcher Tony Suárez excelled with a 5-0 mark and a 1.52 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 47.1 innings, fanned 35 and held opposing batters to a .201 average..That's why the Stars starter was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month[August] by the Johnson League. So far this season Suárez has compiled a 16-7 record with a 2.79 ERA.

Closer Skip Glendenning 15 saves in the last 17 games...

Catcher Jason Dunn .435 3 homers in the last 7 games and overall Dunn is hitting .280 31 83 to help carry the Stars...
