The Stars had a really good month in July going 16-9 to close closer towards first place...The August came along and back to a 8-11 record and Star INF Kevin Minuso
suffered a knee sprain while colliding with a player at a base and has missed the last 4 weeks...A look at his season totals shows Minuso with 9 home runs, .351 BA, .464 OBP, 36 RBIs and 45 runs scored. Anytime you take a leadoff hitter that is that productive its going to cost you games....

The Stars are happy about getting back ace SP Brian Middleton
back to the roster..He should help the last 6 weeks of the year...The 35 year old was injured in April with a torn back muscle..This will be the first year Middleton has missed most of a playing year..

Vet 35 year old INF Roger Rouse had allot to prove this season...Rouse was injured all last season but the Stars signed him for another year and Rouse has showed he can still play..This season he is hitting .283 with a .360 OBP.. Rouse started with the Stars back in 2008 and has now played 12 seasons and will be back for one more year in 2021...
