Valencia Stars: Off Season 2020 # 1

The Stars after last year after reaching the playoffs the Stars were looking to add more offense help and some RP help...With not much ready in the minors the Stars went to the FA market to hope to pickup enough players so they can make one more run at the playoffs...

The Stars picked up CLO Iestyn Pilgrim who will now go into the setup role for the Stars...Last season Pilgrim had a 2.81 ERA and collected 22 saves....

After last years vet FA Outfielders failed the STARS tried again...The Stars added 34 YEAR old power hitter Iván Salas..Last season Salas hit only .206 but smashed 29 homers and had 86 RBI'S....

Vet outfielder Antoine Haddad also joined the Stars as a backup..Haddad a career .275 hitter gives the Stars more depth off the bench....

The Stars added possible HOF outfielder Juan Heredia..At 40 Heredia wasn't ready to hang it up yet and the Stars needed some offense...Heredia a career .309 hitter with 2422 hits and if things go well he will top over 2,500 career hits after this season....

Hopefully this will help this years team and the Stars will make it to the playoffs again...
