The Stars start of the season puts them in second place just behind California and tied with Vancouver... Overall the total performance of both the offence which is 12th overall in batting average with a .235 team average and the overall team pitching 9th with a team ERA of 3.99 is horrible but still the Stars are in it...

A few Stars are standing out early...Rookie SP José León is off to a good start...Leon in 4 starts is 3-1 3.62 ERA and has 20 k's in 27 innings...Not bad for the Stars rookie....

Closer Skip Glendenning has pitched in 10 games so far... Glendenning has 10 saves, allowed ZERO runs and has 13 K's in 9 innings...Last season Glendenning had an amazing year with 46 saves and an ERA of 1.78...Looks like more from the 24 year old closer....

The other young SP Tony Suárez is off to a very good start to with a 2-2 record while posting a 2.97 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP....Suarez and Leon looks to be the future SP for the Stars....
