The Trops tie the game on a solo homer (6) by Jorge Dodd but the Bluebirds re-take the lead in the bottom half of the inning. Hawaii reliever Ricardo Sanchez gave up an RBI double to take the loss. He pitched an inning giving up the run on two hits with a K and falls to 1-1 with a 3.21 ERA. Mahad ‘Furball’ Einan made the start for Hawaii allowing three runs on four hits with four Ks in five innings.
Dodd was 1 for 4 with a run and an RBI while Harry Surface and Miguel ‘Thrillseeker’ Martinez each doubled and drove in a runs.

The Tropics fall behind 4-0 early but battle back to within a run before falling to the Bluebirds again by a single run. The Trops inched back with a solo homer (2) in the 5th inning off the bat of Bob Webb. They pulled within one run on a two-run blast (3) by Eric Owens in the 6th inning. The Nashville bullpen held the Hawaii offense at bay for three innings to secure the win.
Hawaii starter Buwono Mainaky scuffled through 5.1 innings allowing 5 runs on 12 hits and a walk with 4 Ks to take the loss. He falls to 1-3 with a 4.63 ERA.

The Nashville Bluebirds walked it off with a solo homer by Antonio Ronguillo off Tropics reliever Ray Harrison. Harrison had tossed 1.1 scoreless innings to that point and falls to 2-2 with a 2.38 ERA.
Nalany Ahotaein has recovered from his shaky start to the season. He allowed Nashville a run on six hits and three walks with four Ks in five innings of work in a no decision.
Carlos Sanchez was 2 for 4 with a solo homer (5) and Vicente ‘Yogi’ Martinez was 2 for 3 with a walk and a ribbie.
The Nashville Bluebirds sweep the three-game series with three, one-run wins. Just needed six runs.
