The Trops had a solid start from Harry Spurlock, but the offense continues to sputter as Hawaii drops another series. Spurlock allowed three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four batters in 6.2 innings. The bullpen gave up a run over 2.1 innings, but the offense couldn’t muster anything against Brook Park relievers.

Carlos Sanchez was 1 for 2 with a walk and a solo homer (1) in the 6th inning to account for Hawaii’s lone run. Arata Ine singled in four at bats and Antonio Gonzalez was 1 for 4.

The Brook Park Brownies win the three-game series 2-1 over the Hawaii Tropics.
