The Tropics host the Valencia Stars in a three-game series at ‘Iolani Palace.

Game 1- Hawaii left fielder Ramao ‘Massacre’ Saturnino hits a two-run walk off homer to avoid extras as the Trops take the series opener. Tropics reliever Angel Hernandez coughed up his 3rd lead of the season as he allowed three runs on two hits and two walks in the 8th inning. Hernandez doesn’t get the win though as he was removed and replaced by Utkan Gocek. Gocek pitched a clean 9th and improves to 1-0 with a 0.87 ERA.

Terry Hansen pitched 6 2/3 innings allowing a run on three hits and two walks with five Ks. He then watched from the dugout as Hernandez wasted his effort.
