The Tropics finish their road trip with a two-game series against the Sacramento Mad Popes.

Angel Hernandez gave up a run on two hits while fanning a batter in 1 1/3 innings of work. Tye Whitford was solid with another clean inning.

Adhyapayana Mehta was 2 for 5 with a double, a run scored and committed one of the errors for the Trops. Rhys Brickell was 1 for 3 with a walk and an RBI.

Sacramento wins 7-2.

Game 2- ‘Teddy Bear’ Reynolds no hit the Mad Popes for 5 1/3 innings before handing the ball to his bullpen to preserve the win. He allowed a couple of hits and a walk. Juan Cerda pitched 2/3 of a clean inning before Dominic Thompson took the mound for the two inning save. Thompson allowed a hit, walked one and struck out one as he earned his 3rd save of the season.
