The Hawaii Tropics hire Garcia as Manager.
The Tropics hire Ernesto Garcia as their manager. Garcia has been a career minor league coach starting in San Pedro de Macoris in the Drake League from 2042 to 2045. He moved on to the Parker Pilots in the Warren Cox League as the Hitting Coach for the 2046 season then held the same position with the Los Cabos Corsairs in the Rupert Horn League.

The contract is 5 years for a reported $1.2 million.
General Manager Jim Walker said, “Ernie Garcia is a great teacher and is fantastic at developing young players.”
Garcia said, “I can’t wait to get started and see what this team can get done.”
