Hawaii Tropics Ace wins the 2047 Steve Nebraska Golden Arm Award
Alaric Wullenweber wins his third straight Nebraska. Wullenweber was 16-7 with a 2.92 ERA in 33 starts. He fanned 292 batters while walking just 35 in 218 2/3 IP. His FIP was 2.46, his second lowest of his career.
Wullenweber received 24 first place votes 2 seconds and 2 thirds for a score of 240, just 25 points ahead of Chicago’s Bernie Stuart at 215.
