The Tropic News 2048.1
The Hawaii Tropics will have to begin a search for a new manager after Manager Antonio Sanchez retire out of the blue. Sanchez had been the bench coach for Hawaii from mid season 2042 to 2046. He took over the role of manager after the retirement of Ricardo Morales.
Sanchez finished his only season as a manager in the BBA with an 86-76 record and a wild card appearance. General Manager James Walker said of Sanchez, “Antonio did a great job pushing the guys to get us to the playoffs. We hope he has a wonderful retirement here in Hawaii.”
Walker continued, “We have made some calls and a hiring of a field manager is imminent.”
The new manager will have to deal with a talent draw out of Hawaii as salary cap issues will see the loss of key pieces for the Tropics.
