Mike Campbell continues to wake up from his slumber party. For this week he drove in nine runs in 23 AB's, with two homers and a .435 average. He sits among the league leaders in RBI for the 2040 season. Mike is a big time hitter and a fan favorite in Hawaii. At least that's what it says on his page.
Manny Aguilar continues to be, well, Manny Aguilar. He clubbed four home runs in six games, to go with six RBI in only 22 AB. Again, he has a lot of pressure on him considering how great his dad was for a season. Not only does he hit for power, but he is racking up doubles like no ones business. Watch his WAR climb.
Nobody talks about Norm McConnell, nobody. You know, the guy that has yet to give up a homer. The guy with the sub 2.00 ERA. The guy that led the league in saves a year ago, and looks even better this season. Yeah, that guy. Pay attention. He is sure to get destroyed soon.
There are rumblings that the club may make a move in the coaching dept real soon. Speculation surrounds Daniel Silva. He was a stud SS that dabbled in relief over his career and just hasn't gotten results in the BBA. He has in the minors though. Stay tuned.
