Thornton pitched in 52 games last season for the Atlantic City Gamblers and sports ratings of 7/6/6/6/5 along with a 11 fastball 11 curve and a 5 changeup. On January 31st, the Trops signed their last IAFA of the signing period with SP Jesus Peralta inking a deal paying him a $2.2 million bonus. He is a 5/6/6/5/6 rated starter with an 8 fastball, 7 change and a 5 sinker with a velocity potential of 93-95.
