Trops started Kinzo Iwamoto struggled again allowing five runs (four earned) on five hits and a walk in five innings. He struck out four as he takes his 9th loss of the year.
Eric Owens was 2 for 3 with a walk and a three-run homer (37).

The Tropics use a 15 hit barrage to put 10 runs up against the Mounties to even the series at 1-1.
Hawaii’s offense was rolling with every starter getting a hit except for Jorge Dodd. Dodd was 0 for 5 with three punch outs. John Harris was 3 for 5 with a double (31), scored two runs and drove in three. Eric Owens was 2 for 5 with a double (45), scored two and drove in two. Vicente ‘Yogi’ Martinez was 2 for 4 with two ribbies and scored a run.
Trops starter Martin Garcia did just enough to keep his team ahead in 5.1 innings. He allowed four runs on four hits and a couple of walks while striking out three. Jesus Rios pitched 1.2 scoreless innings while giving up a hit and issuing a walk. Utbah ‘Crawdad Me’ bin Muta followed with two scoreless innings. He gave up just two hits as he sealed the win.

The Trops take an early 2-0 lead over the Mounties, but the wheels fall off after three shutout innings. Niegloslaw Woywitka was fantatic the 1st time through the order but struggled after. He finished the game allowing three runs on seven hits and a walk in 5.1 innings. He struck out three as he falls to 16-6.
Enrique Mendoza was 2 for 4 with a solo homer (8) and Carlos Shumann was 1 for 4 with a solo blast (9).

The Vancouver Mounties offense erupts for four runs in the 5th inning that broke a scoreless tie against Hawaii. The Tropics responded with three runs in the top of the 6th. The Mounties bullpen silenced the Trops from then on to get the series win.
Hawaii starter Semih Gurani allowed a run on two hits and two walks in 4.1 innings. He struck out two as he falls to 12-9. Marty Pearce had a horrible outing allowing three runs on 1/3 of an inning.
DH Lynn Avison was 1 for 3, scored a run and had an RBI. Enrique Mendoza was 2 for 4 with an RBI.
The Vancouver Mounties win the series 3-1 to get back in the wildcard chase. The Tropics are now three games back of the Sacramento Mad Popes in the chase for the Pacific Division
