2058.04 Popes Sneak in Third Team News on a Thursday

In a stealthy maneuver typically seen only in other organizations, the Mad Popes front office has published its third team news within a 24 hour period. With the printing of the team news you are currently reading, Sacramento has earned its fifth and sixth participation points of the day, which just so happens to be a Thursday in February of 2024 despite the league playing in 2058.

"I think we made a joke about the timeline thing in a previous team news," said shoeless from atop his pet donkey at his rural Sacramento ranch. "It didn't get much fanfare, but I still get a chuckle when I think about it."
