Nefarious news comes today from a leaked report that indicated the Sacramento front office suspects opposition teams are tapping their internal communications. “They are clearly targeting strategic information,” our informant noted. “Much of it focused on managerial conversations and personnel.”
No specific word on who the spies are working for, but it seems logical they would be coming from Long Beach and Valencia, with some expectation that Vancouver could be in on it.
“Given their unlikely rise, it’s probably Long Beach,” the informant said.
The team’s investigators suggest that it also has a Nashville and Omaha odor to it, but they think it unlikely the front office of either team is sophisticated enough to pull this kind of operation off. Portland is also considered a possible candidate, but that club’s counterintelligence operations tend to be physical in nature, and this is clearly a digital attack.”
“It all started when we noticed a big surge in the automated logs we build into our system,” the informant explained. “We looked at certain entries and went ‘woah.’
The team has no comment on when the Commissioner’s Office might respond to the request.
“I figure we’ll have to wait until the Vegas fire sale ends,” the informant said.
