Knud Zeitler In one of the lone bright spots in the first 12 games of the season, oft-injured starting pitcher
Knud Zeitler put together two quality starts in his first two outings of work, pitching six innings of one run ball against Valencia and another six innings of two run ball against offensive power-house San Fernando.
"Rubber bands, duct-tape, prayers," said Exalted Mystic Ralph Dewaldo. "His arm resembles a child's afternoon project."
Zeitler spent almost the entirety of 2043 on the injured list after tearing his UCL in September of 2042. The veteran right-hander will need to stay healthy if the Popes want to parry the 90 loss mark for the season. Zeitler carries a player opt-out after the season and will likely try for a gluttonous payday if he can remain healthy.
"Chicken soup ... ," sang Dewaldo. "Is not made from chicken shit."
