SP Roberto Castillo
The 22-year-old lefty out of Aruba put together an extremely solid year in Hollywood over the summer, posting a team best 0.82 WHIP and minuscule 2.20 ERA over 114.1 innings. Although, this season was Castillo's third stint with single A Hollywood after his demotion from AA Bismarck the season before.
"We absolutely love what we've seen from Robbie (Castillo) this summer," said GM Shoeless. "But, man, can I tell you something? We have about 50 Roberto Castillo's in our organization right now. They're all playing a level or two below where we'd like to see them, but we're just full of mediocre guys. Hell, I'd love someone to come in and figure out the problem for me."
Castillo should see a move to AA Bismarck or even AAA Black Hills next season.
