With their eighth round selection in the 2041 BBA Amateur Draft, the California Crusaders landed catching prospect, Leonardo Corral. The left-hand-hitting backstop out of Salt Lake City, profiles decent bat skills and above average defensive abilities, but it was his demeanor in the clubhouse and dugout that swayed Crusader brass to spend a pick on him.

"I hate projecting on a 21-year-old kid fresh off a college baseball season," said GM Shoeless. "But, we see Corral developing into a guy who can be a part of the California organization for many years. And, yes, we'd be lying if we weren't thinking of having him as a coach some day."

Corral's former coaches rave about his ability to lead his fellow teammates. Many went on at length about his loyalty to the team and his fantastic work ethic.

According to his college coach with the Netflix Streamers, "Corral makes everyone better -- better ballplayers, better teammates, just better human beings."
