Pitcher of the sim:
SP Michael Shellenbarger
2-0 with a 2.30 ERA and 11 K's in 15.7 IP. Shelly showing why he's my ace.
Batter of the sim:
1B Jacinto Merino Jr
.343 Avg in 35 AB's with 4 roundtrippers. The trade to get Merino was so worth it. He's just a stud.
6-3. Up and down then up then back down then up again. Such a roller coaster is my team. After this most recent positive sim the Crusaders still sit 1 game back of Vancouver. Only about 3 weeks left to go this season and it will be quite a race to the finish. The wild card still looks like its going to Omaha (although the gap has closed to 5 and 1/2 games) so the priority has to be to win the division. Still have a head to head series against Vancouver coming up. If we can win that series then i like our chances to take this division.
