1-0 with a 1.12 ERA and 6 K's in 8.0 IP. He certainly pitched a fantastic game to help lock down a season series win against Vancouver.

Batter of the sim:
SS Chandler Orm
.533 Avg in 15 AB's. Orm has been fantastic in his rookie season.

OH SO CLOSE! We went 3-1 to just barely lose the division to rival Vancouver. It was a great series. Even the loss was awesome. Oscar Funke pitched a complete game but gave up a lone run to lose to an outstanding effort from Vancouver's Flaskamper.

So the playoffs begin soon and California has to take on the juggernaut from Madison. Cali has not fared well against Madison with a dreadful 2-10 mark in the season series. Lets hope the playoff atmosphere and Cali's hot bats provide whats necessary to get over the hump.
