Pitcher of the sim:
SP Michael Shellenbarger
1-1 with a 1.88 ERA and 13 K's in 14.3 IP. Great pitching effort but unfortunately only the 1 win.

Batter of the sim:
RF Sadaharu Oh Jr
.419 Avg in 31 AB's. Great sim except for the injury he picked up. Hes now out for a month.

6-4 sim. Would have been a great sim but Baltimore destroyed us in a 3 game sweep. The loss of Oh Jr for a month will definitely hurt but if he's back in time for the playoffs we should be ok.

The JL playoffs are all but set.

My magic number is 2 so now I am trying to decide whether I want to make a run at best record and likely get you again in first round, or go on the side of caution, play some reserves and get 100% healty and potentially play Vancouver in Round 1.

Any chance you can suffer some more injuries like last season? It would help my decision making...

i just lost oh jr for a month and hes been my best hitter. i think im due for a pitcher to go down soon so we shall see.
